The “Hubertus” Shooting and Hunting Club was founded in 1992 on the initiative of Wacław Ustupski and Krzysztof Wasowicz. The first meeting took place on October 16, 1994. The board of directors was elected:

In 1995, the duties of secretary were taken over by the late. Andrzej Macialek.
In 1992, the Club organized for the first time at the Buffalo Range in LaSalle, Illinois a shooting competition using Polish pre-war Mauser rifles from the collection of Club members. These competitions took place for 4 years.
In 1998, Krzysztof Wasowicz and Wacław Ustupski purchased a farm in North Judson Indiana and made it available to Club members. The Club has its own private shooting range there, where Shooting Competitions with Small-Caliber Weapons (KBKS), which is owned by the Club, are organized three times a year, and Bow Shooting Competitions once a year.
In addition to promoting shooting and hunting sports, the Club allocates its income to charity: Dar Serca, Center for Disabled Children in Zakopane, aid for victims of natural disasters in Morawczyn.
The club cooperates with other Polish clubs: “Ostoja”, “Polish Hunting and Fishing Club”, “Zew Natury”, “Hidden Paradise”. Club members are active members of PZL (Polish Hunting Association) in Poland. In addition, club members are active members of the NRA (National Rifle Association), which protects the civil rights of the US Constitution, in particular the right to own weapons.
The aim of the club is to promote hunting ethics, shooting sports, and to continue the hunting tradition and culture abroad. Proof of this is the Figurine of St. Hubert, which was built and consecrated in the fall of 2004.
We try to pass on the traditions and experiences of the young generation, the children of our members participate in competitions and hunts.
We cannot forget about the members who have gone to the Land of Eternal Hunting. Among them are: the late. Czesław Czekaj, late Karol Surma and the late Andrzej Macialek.
